Pump Tank Stations

Pump Tank Stations provide a stable reservior of cooling fluid that minimizes the affects of cooling load changes.

Advantage Pump Tank Stations are an integral part of evaporative cooling tower, fluid cooler and chilled water cooling systems.

Pump Tank Stations are generally installed indoors and consist of a vented reservoir along with fluid pumps and controls that are selected to meet the specific needs of your system.

The vented reservoir provides natural air separation for any air that may be trapped in the cooling fluid which reduces heat transfer effectiveness as well as providing a convenient location to monitor water quality and introduce chemical treatment.

  • Pump tank stations and pumping systems work with one or more evaporative cooling towers in Cooling Tower Systems or with one or more chilling modules in Chilled Water Systems to provide a complete central process cooling water distribution system.
  • Pump tank stations and pumping systems use a large fluid reservoir and circulating pumps to move water through the plant's distribution system.
  • Pump tank stations are offered in 200 to 3000 gallon capacities for the reservoir with circulating pumps and pumping systems offered from 1HP to 100HP.
  • Reservoirs are available in polyethylene, stainless steel or epoxy coated mild steel.

Mild Steel Reservoirs

Mild Steel Reservoirs use rolled steel sheets configured into a baffled reservoir that is double pass welded and reinforced with angle iron belting. Mild Steel reservoirs are coated on all wetted surfaces with a epoxy-tar layer to prevent rust or corrosion. Stainless steel is also available.

These pump tank stations can provide process flow from 40 to 1250 GPM (2 to 60 HP pumps).

Polyethylene Reservoirs

Polyethylene reservoirs use a patented hybrid design to create a structurally sound cylindrical reservoir that offers total corrosion resistance in most cases of untreated water.

These pump tank stations can provide process flow from 40 to 1250 GPM (2 to 60 HP pumps).
